Over-night camping in the Park

I just found out that the Manila County Commissioners met last night to discuss the issue of over-night camping in the park.  In previous years, it was allowed, then last year after our reunion, they passed an ordinance stating no RV's allowed in the park at any time.

The decision has been made that only 2 campers/RV's are allowed in the park at one time for the following reasons ONLY:

1.  Elderly and/or mothers w/babies needing rest/shade
2.  Cooking purposes
3.  Security reasons

With this information, no over-night parking/camping is allowed, but you can have your camper/RV there during the day.   ***** JUST RECEIVED PERMISSION (5/4/12) FOR UNCLE ARTHUR TO BE ABLE TO CAMP OVER-NIGHT TO WATCH OVER ALL OF OUR SUPPLIES (SECURITY REASONS).  If you need to make hotel accommodations, there are links to hotels on the side of this blog.  If you have any questions, please leave a comment, or reply back to my email that I sent out.  If you did not receive an email, please let me know at dezaree@gmail.com.

2012 Robinson Family Reunion

It’s that time of year again.  Time for the……

 ROBINSON FAMILY REUNION

Come for some good food, good fun and good company!  The following is a schedule of the weekend’s activities:

Date: June 30^th (Saturday), July 1^st (Sunday), in Manila, Utah at the Manila Town Park.

Time: June 30^th – 6:30 a.m. - breakfast started, served at 7:00 a.m., end at 8:00 a.m.

           June 30^th – 12:00 p.m. - lunch served

           June 30^th – 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – family history/stories, horseshoes, & games.   Bring

your best aiming/launching skills, your crazy-game

skills & we’ll have some fun!!!!

           June 30^th –6:00 p.m. - dinner/leftovers served

           June 30^th –8:00 p.m. - roast marshmallows & eat s’mores

           July 1^st - 6:30 a.m. - breakfast started, served at 7:00 a.m., end at 8:00 a.m.

Potluck:  Please bring a dish to share for the luncheon on Saturday (salad, fruit, pasta, desert etc.).  Meat and drinks will be provided.

Mark your calendars for next year!  The reunion will be June 28-30^th,  2013 (main events on Saturday, June 29^th).

Movie Night -  Up or the new version of Alice in Wonderland or both depending on how late everyone wants to stay up!  We'll roast marshmellows around the campfire and make smores.
